Last weekend we finished the last of the truss installations over the porch.  What remained was some hand framing of the eaves which we finished this weekend.  This hand framing finishes off the valley between the new kitchen roof and the existing garage roof.  Once that was complete it was time for sheathing!  Finally safe (mostly) from the snow!

It was a brutally cold day today for framing. Today's high was about 7 degrees (F) with a breeze about 10 mph.  It made working on a ladder quite an adventure.  We worked on getting the porch trusses installed.  Not bad for two guys on a ladder with lots of layers on to keep warm!
